Thanos is a minor character in the SMG4 series.
He is a major antagonist in Marvel Comics and the main antagonist of the Infinity Saga in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, serving as the main antagonist of both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. He is a Titan who wants to eradicate half of all life in the universe so as to prevent overpopulation using the Infinity Gauntlet, though in his original portrayal he wanted to please Death. He has made a few cameos in SMG4's bloopers, mainly in the ninth season.
Though he himself does not appear, the entire episode was a homage to Infinity War and a reference to him. In the episode, Wario obtains the Power Glove, prompting Mario, Bowser, Fishy Boopkins and Steve to go and stop him. Near the end of the blooper, Wario shoots an energy beam at everyone, causing them to disintegrate to dust, much like the ending of Infinity War where Thanos snaps his fingers with the Infinity Gauntlet, therefore destroying half of the universe's populace. Fortunately, Luigi crashes in with his Trash Bag identity and saves them.
In his debut appearance, he is used as Fishy Boopkins' transformation where Boopkins was saving his friends from some Master Hands. This version of Thanos is green-skinned and has blue super-Saiyan hair. He later appears in his true coloration in the land of memes.
He appears in this episode waiting in a line queuing up at the bank. He later disappears (abeilt possibly due to an error) when Mario gets thrown outside by Swagmaster69696969696 for cutting the line.
In this episode, he picks the Infinity Gauntlet (which Mario thought was inferior to SMG4's Meta-Runner arm) out of a trashcan before saying "Oh, these are pretty cool bananas!".
Once again in his Homer Simpson coloration, he appears near the end where he assists Ganondorf as an Evil League of Bad Bois member.
Thanos makes a cameo at Dashcon in his Homer Simpson coloration.
Once again in his Homer coloration, he appears at Ancient Boi's schools.
