The Retirement of SMG3 is the forty-first episode of Season 14 of the SMG4 series, the six hundred and eighty-fourth within the SMG4 series, and the nine hundred and sixth video overall to be uploaded on the SMG4 channel.
This is the episode SMG3 came up with during the fourth SMG4 and SMG3 installment. The video was uploaded on October 26, 2024.
Synopsis[]
SMG3 becomes old and is sent to a retirement home, so Mario's gotta get him outta there
Plot[]
The Mushroom Kingdom carnival comes to town right at the Showgrounds, and SMG4 really wants to ride a teacup. However, there is only one problem: it's a baby carnival, and he must be a baby to ride. So, they went to E. Gadd's lab to try to make SMG4 younger. There, E. Gadd is inventing an age gun device and SMG4 is really eager to use it after it is completed.
However, Mario appears and tells E. Gadd to make for him the Spaghetti flavored Oats, much to E. Gadd's annoyance. E. Gadd then attack Mario, but Mario dodged it while also spilling his Quaker Oats on the age gun, causing it to go haywire and shoots at SMG3, which made him old. He gets immediately thrown into the retirement home by the Grim Reaper for being too old. There, he meet the Old Man Hobo and the Elder Scroll and gets into a fight with him.
Meanwhile, SMG4 and Mario were able to get inside the home successfully by saying that Mario put pineapple on pizza. SMG4 told Mario to find SMG3 and bring him home. Back with SMG3, he lived miserably in the retirement home when Mario appeared and told him that they are here to bust him out. However, SMG3 says that it's not easy to get out as they need a strategy. Mario tried to prove him wrong by walking out but unfortunately, the Reaper stopped him from leaving which proves SMG3's point.
So Mario and SMG3 took part to win a bingo contest with Swag being the host, and the prize is two shovels and a jar of rat poison. During the contest, Swag was arrested by Hal Monitor for making a bingo contest long and having illegal prizes. Once they were distracted, Mario and SMG3 stole the prizes and tries to use the shovels to escape, only to be caught by Old Man Hobo.
The old man reveals that he wants to escape too, and him and the other old people form a gang called the Elder Scrolls. They try to escape only for the police to stop them. The old man called some reinforcements and the big battle has begun. When the old folks were fighting, SMG3, Mario and Old Man Hobo were about to make their escape to SMG4's van but more police reinforcements came and captured them.
However, SMG3 used the Quaker Oats and creates a distraction while SMG3 used Mario to escape the cage. However, the police reinforcements noticed it and charges at them. Old Man Hobo sacrifices himself for SMG3, letting him and Mario escape on a van, and SMG3 thinks the old man was his dad. Back at the Showgrounds, SMG3 returned back to his rightful age by E. Gadd's invention offscreen, while SMG4 finally gets to ride on the teacup ride thanks to E. Gadd. It ends with SMG3 seeing Old Man Hobo in the clouds, saying "You did good, kid."

- The episode was brought to life through contributions from several creators. Aaron Rogers developed the initial improvisation game concept of SMG4 and SMG3 come up with an episode, Paul Stylianou wrote the teleplay, and James Bailey was one of the original minds behind the plot.
