Whimpu (Japanese: ウィンプ, Hepburn: Winpu, Wimpu) is a modern recurring character in the SMG4 series.

He made his debut in the Season 10 episode S̶M̶G̶4̶: I Can't Believe It's Not SMG4!, as the doppelganger of Saiko Bichitaru. He is known to be a meek simp who joined Anti-Cast, serving as one of the seven former secondary antagonists of the YouTube Arc.

Whimpu is as tall as Saiko Bichitaru, making him one of the tallest characters of the series. His design appears to resemble most characters from the EarthBound/MOTHER series. He wears round glasses and what appears to be a school uniform which consists of a red tie, a white polo t-shirt, and beige pants.

Whimpu's the opposite of Saiko Bichitaru, being passive instead of aggressive. While he's a decent scientist and actor, he has a terrible singing voice and is incredibly weak. He also has an interest in anime, just like Fishy Boopkins.

However, he does have charisma, as he was able to convince several bodybuilders to help him in lifting Beeg SMG4 in SMG4: War Of The Fat Italians 2020 despite having an obvious photo-shopped image of himself. He seems to have a foot fetish, as seen in some videos where he kisses an anime girl's foot.

Despite being the opposite of Saiko, they both side with Mario on Team Pizza in SMG4: Food Wars.

S̶M̶G̶4̶: I Can't Believe It's Not SMG4!

"Did you see the wimp they chose to play as me?!"

Saiko Bichitaru

Whimpu first debuted in this episode to audition for Cromulus's (Later revealed to be SMG3) play by showing his scientific prowess. Despite both of his hands transforming into Team Fortress character's head and freaking out with said heads, Cromulus still liked what he got, mainly due to his uncanny resemblance in appearance to Saiko. During the play, he parodied Saiko's Darkest Hour against Rob's parody of Bob's rap career. After the play was over and SMG4 discovered SMG3 ripped off of SMG4's adventures, SMG3 commanded his doppelgangers to fight SMG4's crew. As opposed to physical combat, Whimpu suggested some debate topics to Saiko as a means of combat but Saiko rejected that idea and immediately incapacitated Whimpu. After Mario settled the score between SMG4 and SMG3, Saiko offered to call an ambulance for Whimpu and the two crews walked away.

SMG4: Mario VS Youtube

During SMG3's heist for the YouTube Remote, instead of fighting the guards at YouTube headquarters, Whimpu tried distracting them with videos on his laptop it worked long enough for the remote to be stolen although it appeared to have failed.

SMG4: Deleted

SMG3 sent Whimpu back to the past to erase Saiko from existence. Rather than destroy Fishy Boopkins' laptop (which Saiko herself did by accident), Whimpu instead tried to persuade Boopkins to play a different game instead; one of his own to no avail.

SMG4: A Totally Normal S̷͍͖͉̙͚͎̑̃̿͑̆̇̚͠M̸͇͇̦̮̌̿Ğ̴̫̗̖͎͔̳4̶̞͇̰̎̀́̚ Episode

Whimpu was ordered by SMG3 to act like Saiko in a "normal" SMG3 episode. However, even after being threatened at gunpoint, Whimpu felt scared and couldn't say his lines as read from the script.

When Mario manages to go after SMG3, leading to the cowardly latter to run away, as the former gave chase, Whimpu asked the rest of SMG3's crew if they should help SMG3, But they were not bothered to help their leader anyway as they were upset with him.

SMG4: War Of The Fat Italians 2020

He was involved in a few of the challenges. He first tried convincing Meggy to watch his anime rather than Boopkins' but she was disgusted and left, failing both of them. He then asked Boopkins' if he wanted to watch anime to Boopkins' joy. In the second challenge of his, he had to lift Beeg SMG4 but seeing Luigi who was physically stronger than him fail, he convinced several nearby bodybuilders to help him win, nabbing him the challenge.

During the rap battle sequence against SMG4's gang, Whimpu and the rest of Anti-Cast joins SMG4 when they know the truth about SMG3, causing the gang to turn against him. Whimpu was briefly frozen by SMG3 with the YouTube Remote. After both factions defeated SMG3 and have him being banished to the Internet Graveyard, The SMG4 gang along with SMG3's former gang including Whimpu now celebrates their newfound friendship and victory.

SMG4: Food Wars

Both the SMG4 and former SMG3 crew were throwing a party at Peach's Castle during Princess Peach's absence.

A dispute grows over what food should be put on the table. As the dispute gets more tension, more people rallied over to their preferred choice of food, Soon after, SMG4 declared a food war.

Whimpu was on Team Pizza with Mario. He was the one who was responsible for carrying the pizza boxes to the table.

He updates Luigi's data plan, but is shocked to see his internet history and later he got beaten by RMKP.

Whimpu is the main protagonist of the episode.

SMG4: War of the Simps

He appears as one of the co-protagonists in the episode. He had a rivalry with Boopkins over being the best simp, until he discovered the truth about virtual YouTubers when Saiko brought them to Nathaniel Bandy's mansion and waifu factory.

SMG4 Christmas Special 2020

Whimpu appears in SMG3's Christmas story, where he and Saiko having a snowball fight with SMG4 and Fishy Boopkins, Whimpu later appears with Swagmaster6969696969 and Chris Gordman along with the SMG4 cast and Anti-Cast celebrating their Christmas in Peach's castle.

  • He is the only member of SMG3’s gang to have originated from the ground up rather than debuting in an earlier SMG4 video or Meta Runner.
  • Whimpu is perhaps the third character to debut during a story arc, (Belle Fontiere, originally debuted in Meta Runner, while her SMG4 counterpart debut in the same episode as Whimpu) with Tari being the first in the Waluigi Arc and Axol being the second in the Anime Arc.
  • He's the exact opposite of Saiko, being pacifistic, meek, and sensitive. He also prefers smart activities and is a real person rather than a virtual character brought to life.
  • His name is a play on "wimp" and it is also stylized as a Japanese word. This also applies to Saiko which is a play on the word, "Psycho."
  • The text-to-speech voice used for this character is Takumi_Male.
